Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.70 - $23.20. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors.

Join Our Team as a PPS Support Associate (Summer Student)!

The PSS Support Associate is responsible for supporting the processes and systems related to servicing our customers and supporting our sales and service staff. They will provide both administrative and analytical support and will develop our analytical and reporting capabilities to provide insights into key trends and performance indicators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork
  • Coordinates and arranges meetings (booking meeting rooms, arranging catering, and assisting with agenda preparation and meeting minutes)
  • Processing of incoming orders, accepting PO’s, in Oracle and validating customer information, orders and purchase order details
  • Enter customer quotes in Salesforce and update customer accounts
  • Enter item data for all new parts assigned to Toronto PSS
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and adjustments, and Kanban management
  • Ordering of components to maintain required inventory levels
  • Prepares and transports small parts to shipping as required
  • Performing, receiving and shipping transactions in Oracle
  • Responsible for the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process, including arranging pickups of RMA's from customers
  • May be required to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Receiving of incoming materials, processing associated paperwork, and data entry
  • Picking, packing and shipping of product
  • Place inventory in designated locations

    • What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Is currently enrolled in a post-secondary Electrical Engineering program
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be adaptable to changing business needs
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a high attention to detail

    • Physical Effort:

    Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.

    Work Environment:

    Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
