Job Title: Licensed Life Insurance Agent / Executive Assistant

Location: Toronto (Remote until September; hybrid/in-person thereafter)

Type: Part-time or Full-time

Compensation: $50K–$70K base (commensurate with experience)

Start: ASAP

Overview

We are hiring a licensed Life Insurance Agent who wants stable income and is comfortable taking on executive-assistant–style responsibilities alongside core insurance work.

This is an insurance-first role
. The administrative and EA duties support insurance operations and related investment activities — they are not junior or clerical tasks.

If you are a licensed life agent who is organized, detail-driven, and tired of chasing commissions, this role is built for you.

Core Responsibilities Insurance (Primary Responsibility)
  • Day-to-day life insurance administration and processing
  • Managing policies, applications, renewals, amendments, and compliance documentation
  • Liaising with carriers, MGAs, underwriters, and clients
  • Maintaining clean, audit-ready insurance files and records
Executive / Administrative Support (Secondary but Ongoing)
  • Supporting real estate investment funds with documentation and coordination
  • Assisting with investor records, communications, and reporting logistics
  • Managing sub-agreements and related documentation
  • Handling email follow-ups, deadlines, and time-sensitive items
  • Keeping systems, files, and records organized and accurate
Non-Negotiable Requirements
  • Active Life Insurance licence in Ontario
  • Hands-on life insurance experience (not academic or trainee level)
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort handling sensitive information
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities without hand-holding
  • Toronto-based or able to be onsite as required starting September
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Exposure to real estate funds, private investments, or investor documentation
  • Experience working in compliance-driven or confidential environments
  • Comfort supporting senior executives or founders
