What We Are Looking For:

This position is ideally suited for someone who has completed or currently completing post-secondary education preferably with an interest in the legal field. If you are looking for an opportunity to work from May to August and gain some exposure to the legal industry by completing administrative tasks, this is the perfect role for you. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently.

For optimal learning this opportunity will ideally be performed in-office.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input data into a records management system
  • Scanning documents and save them to the document management system
  • Assist with organizing and filing documents
  • Label file folders in boxes to be put away
  • Prepare and complete all necessary correspondence and documentation
  • General administrative projects
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
  • Produce the highest quality of work
  • Accountable for all work assigned
  • Takes initiative

  • Requirements:

  • Has recently completed or currently completing post-secondary education with an interest in law
  • Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands
  • Skills:

  • Microsoft suite of applications

  • Compensation:

    The hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
