Position: Billing Clerk – Full-Time Role
.

We are currently seeking a Billing Clerk to join our firm, in our Creditors’ Rights department. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be reliable, highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring compliance at all times with client directives, relevant legislation and firm policies
  • Paying FCT invoices
  • Preparing and posting invoices for several portfolios with the same client
  • Tracking firm and client data and reconciling as needed
  • Reviewing Unbilled Disbursements Report
  • Reviewing Unpaid Invoices Report and following up with client
  • Handle invoicing inquiries from law clerks and lawyers
  • Closing files
  • Scanning and uploading documents to client databases
  • Additional duties as required
  • Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of similar administrative experience considered an asset
  • Experience with billings/accounts a definite asset
  • College Diploma/University Degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office)
  • The ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • The ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic
  • Reliable, with an excellent attendance history
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
  • A satisfactory criminal records check will be required from the selected candidate as a condition of employment.
