Job Description What will you work on?

The Senior Accounts Payable Administrator plays an important role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Accounts Payable function. This position is responsible for handling the payment function for North America, reconciling vendor accounts, maintaining AP reports, and assisting with the administration of key AP sub‑systems. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Payable Manager, the Senior Accounts Payable Administrator works closely with the AP team and cross‑functional partners to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a smooth end‑to‑end payment process.

will you create impact?
  • Review invoices and payment requisitions for appropriate approval in accordance with the Global Authorization Matrix (GAM) and P2P Policy
  • Post invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Play a key role in managing weekly payment runs and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing in line with company policies
  • Assist with Global payment review for accuracy and consolidation
  • Prepare monthly KPI dashboarding and reports
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies or outstanding items
  • Support the administration of the corporate credit card program
  • Responsible for Concur reporting and supporting the maintenance of the reporting tool, including user access and related enquiries
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Perform month‑end close activities including AP sub‑ledger to general ledger reconciliation, vendor reconciliations, etc.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, including SOPs and job aids
  • Support payment related testing during system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with data clean‑up, validation, and reporting during ERP transitions or other process improvements
  • Liaise with Procurement, Treasury, and other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
  • Provide ad hoc support to the team as needed
What are your skills and experience?
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or similar related program
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or a related Finance role
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SAP or other large ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic data analysis)
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur and corporate credit card administration is a strong asset
  • Solid understanding of AP processes including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong self‑start with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $55,000 to $65,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi‑state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
