Baka Pozd Business Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Toronto
. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about numbers, accuracy, and financial organization, and who are eager to build their accounting career in a professional consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Support payroll processing and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for financial data collection.
  • Assist during audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates with strong academic background may apply).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
