The Junior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for providing internal support for the invoice processing, expense report auditing, and invoice review/resolution. This role will also play a key role in assisting the accounting team members with other required tasks including month end process and entry completion, external vendor Accounts Payable (A/P) reconciliations, and monthly reporting needs to support internal and external stakeholders.
The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually.
- Invoice Processing
- Inventory reporting
- Audit Concur Travel & Expense reports
- Provide monthly reports to support internal and external stakeholders
- Assist Month End process and entry completions
- Support vendor AP reconciliations & follow ups
- Assist with onboarding of new vendors
- Assist accounting team in ad hoc tasks as required
- Recycling reporting & compliance
- Minimum 1 years of Finance, or Accounting experience
- Prior CPG or Beverage Industry experience an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, with Finance or Accounting specialization preferred
- Pursuing CPA designation would be an asset
- Proficient in Excel, with a keen curiosity to learn more within this tool to help build models and process’ efficiencies within existing Accounting workbooks/models.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse fast paced environment
- Self-starter who is eager to learn, and has a keen curiosity to explore + develop solutions to help the Accounting team and its stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
