A well-established public accounting firm is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong technical abilities and the ability to work independently.

About the Role

This position supports a high-volume practice primarily focused on compilation engagements, corporate tax returns, and owner-managed businesses. The work is steady, deadline-driven, and requires someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and highly efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare Notice to Reader (NTR) files and working papers using Case Ware and Case View
• Complete corporate, personal, and trust tax returns in Taxprep
• Work through multiple files with limited supervision, hitting deadlines with accuracy
• Identify and flag tax-related issues and apply a business-minded approach to client files
• Communicate directly with partners in a clear, confident, and professional manner
• Support a high-volume workload and adapt to occasional extended hours as needed
• Contribute to a team environment with a strong work ethic and shared accountability

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm
• Strong proficiency in Case Ware, Case View, and Taxprep
• Enrolled in CPA program or intent to pursue
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time across multiple files
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written); fluent in English
• Self-starter who can work independently and deliver high-quality results under pressure
• Comfortable receiving direct feedback and working with a straightforward, high-expectation team
