ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established public accounting firm. This is a leadership-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.

The right candidate brings a strong technical background, a collaborative leadership style, and hands-on experience in public accounting.

• Manage and oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
• Review accounting, tax, and financial statements prepared by team members
• Lead, mentor, and support junior and intermediate staff, fostering professional growth
• Coordinate workflow, deadlines, and resource planning across engagements
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance and resolving inquiries
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Contribute to process improvements and support best practices across the firm

• CPA designation (required)
• Previous experience working in public accounting (required)
• Proven people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Client-focused mindset with a collaborative and approachable leadership style
• Calm, professional, and composed—able to perform well under pressure
