As Senior Accountant, you will be working on multiple infrastructure assets across Canada and the USA, overseeing day‑to‑day accounting for various projects: transaction accounting, posting entries, processing invoices, AP, AR, and account reconciliations. You will ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE, and support accurate and timely maintenance of financial records.

• Oversee record keeping and general ledger maintenance, including reviewing the accuracy of sales invoices, incoming payments, and supplier statements.
• Record monthly journal entries in the accounting system, focus on accuracy and compliance, and perform account reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial data.
• Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements and lead the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare year‑end audit working papers and liaise with external auditors.
• Compile tax schedules and coordinate with external tax advisors for the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
• Mentor and guide junior staff as part of a cohesive team.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a project‑based environment.
• Working toward a CPA designation.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Fluent in English (French preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency with accounting software and intermediate Excel skills preferred.
