Maybe it is NFP. Maybe it is owner managed businesses. Maybe it is a mix of everything and nothing in particular. You are good at audit, but the work never quite stays still long enough for you to feel properly confident in it.

This firm does one thing extremely well.

If you have never touched it before, that is fine. They expect that. What they care about is whether you can learn, communicate clearly, and stay calm when you are explaining numbers to people who are not accountants.

You will start in the office in the GTA close to Markham, North York etc. That is where the learning happens. Once you are settled and trusted, flexibility opens up properly. Hybrid. Remote. It is not a dangling promise.

The work becomes focused. Predictable. And oddly satisfying. You stop context switching. You get sharper. Clients start recognising you.

CPA is required. This firm is not an accredited training office and they are upfront about that. What they do offer is proper responsibility early, exposure to AGMs, and a clear path forward if you want to stay and grow.

One honest line. You will talk to people more than you might be used to. If that sounds interesting rather than exhausting, this could be a good move.
