Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Baka Pozd Business Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Accountant to join our finance team in Toronto
. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support informed business decision-making within a consultancy environment.

• Maintain and update accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow regularly.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within a consultancy or professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
