About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with ASPE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements and supporting working papers.

Complete corporate tax returns with all applicable schedules.

Prepare personal tax returns and provide tax planning services.

Preparation of year end audits

Review engagements

Ensure adherence to ASPE standards and proper financial statement disclosure.

Qualifications:

CPA designation or significant progress toward obtaining the designation.

Minimum of years of recent Canadian accounting experience in a public accounting firm.

Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software (Caseware, Tax Prep/Profile).

Advanced knowledge of Canadian ASPE and financial statement disclosure.

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Self-motivated and results-driven, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
