We're seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Policy Analyst to join our client's Government team in Toronto.

What You'll Do:
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing accounting policies and identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement new accounting policies that align with government regulations and industry standardsProvide expert guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on complex financial mattersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of accounting policies across government programsStay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the field of public sector accountingPrepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate policy changes and their impactWhat We're Looking For:Qualifications:Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designationMinimum 10 years of experience in a senior-level accounting policy or advisory roleDemonstrated expertise in analyzing and interpreting financial dataStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse stakeholdersProficient in the use of financial analysis software and data visualization toolsThorough understanding of government accounting regulations and best practicesIf this sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to apply today!
