Your new role

As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for full-cycle property accounting for a portfolio ofmercial and industrial properties. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will prepare monthly financial statements, maintain working papers, reconcile accounts, and manage tax remittances. You will also oversee CAM and tax recoveries, assist with annual budgets, liaise with auditors, and review the work of junior accountants.

This role involves close collaboration with leasing, acquisitions, and operations teams.

What you'll need to succeed

2–5 years of experience inmercial property management accounting.

Strong organizational, technical, andmunication skills.

Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems; MRI or Yardi experience is an asset.

Ability to work effectively with property management and site staff.

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new concepts in the monthly accounting cycle.
