Accounting Administrative Assistant

If you take pride in keeping the numbers right and the day running smoothly, this Accounting Administrative Assistant role offers the chance to be a trusted part of a busy legal team. You will support the firm’s accounting function through billings, client service, collection reminders, payables, and daily financial administration. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of accounting experience in a law firm environment, and extensive knowledge of accounting software.

Salary:
Up to $70K

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process client billings in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide professional client service related to billing inquiries and account matters
  • Issue collection reminders and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment tracking
  • Assist with day‑to‑day accounting and financial administration for the firm
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members to support smooth accounting operations
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting experience within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience with legal accounting software;
    Soluno experience is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Professional communication skills and a client‑focused approach
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Comfortable working in an in‑office, team‑based setting
