Franchise Accountant

About the Opportunity

• Prepare, reconcile, and maintain asset and liability accounts, ensuring accuracy, IFRS compliance, and timely audit support.
• Process and review accounts payable transactions, support treasury activities, and perform bank and inventory reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis for operations and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain lease accounting schedules, including ROU assets and lease liabilities, ensuring proper classification and compliance.
• Contribute to internal controls by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and supporting system and workflow improvements.

• CPA designation (or working toward completion) with strong knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting principles.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or operationally complex environment.
• Proficiency in reconciliations, accounts payable processes, and lease accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
