Thread count is a growing textile company with a fast-paced operations environment and high standards for accuracy. We’re hiring an experienced Bookkeeping & Order Desk Support professional to help keep our finance and order processing systems clean, consistent, and reliable as we scale. This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone with strong bookkeeping fundamentals, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a structured accounting workflow.
Location& Workstyle
- On-site role at a working textile studio showroom
- Located in the Castlefield Design District (Dufferin & Eglinton area)
- Collaborative, design-forward industrial workspace
- Up to one remote day per week once training is complete
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Maintaining accurate records in Quick Books
- Expense tracking and workbook expense management
- Supplier invoice processing and payment preparation
- Monthly close support and reconciliations
- Sales reporting and financial summaries
- Export costing and landed cost tracking
- CDBP monthly processing and compliance
- Order preparation and entry
- Stock availability checks
- Price and margin verification
- Contract and opportunity support
- Maintaining accurate order, invoice, and customer records
- Coordinating internally on order status and fulfillment
- Independent projects assigned by analysts
- File management, trackers, and documentation
- Minimum 4 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
- Solid understanding of AP / AR
- Professional-level English fluency (written and spoken)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Are early-career or entry-level
- Lack strong Excel skills
- Require close daily supervision
- Are not fluent in professional business English
