Base pay range

CA $65,000.00/yr - CA $75,000.00/yr

Working Hours: Flexible (Start: 7am
-10am / Finish: 3pm - 6pm)

A well-established, mid-sized public accounting firm in Scarborough is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. The firm offers accounting, tax, and advisory services to owner-managed businesses and individuals and is known for its collaborative culture and strong client relationships.

The Opportunity

This role focuses on compilations and tax advisory, with broad exposure across clients and industries. You’ll work closely with managers and partners, while managing files end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete full-cycle accounting for clients
• Work directly with clients and partners across compilation, tax, and assurance engagements
• Analyze and review financial information and prepare working papers
• Prepare corporate tax returns for review by managers and partners
• Act as a senior team member on review and assurance engagements
• Prepare personal tax returns and participate in seasonal tax return pools (T1, T3, T4)
• Support tax advisory and planning initiatives for clients

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Solid experience preparing corporate and personal tax returns in Canada
• Experience with Caseware and Taxprep is an asset
