Position: Clinical Pharmacy Director - $145,000 - 225,000/yr
Join our team at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic as the Pharmacy Clinical Director in Yakima, WA! This position is responsible for the overall operation of the various pharmacy locations in accordance with the organization's goals and objectives and Pharmacy leadership.

Pharmacists are involved in all aspects of patient care and have access to patient charts, labs, medications, and diagnoses. With the ability to prescribe or modify care plans via collaborative agreements, our goal is to ensure patients receive the best and most complete, cost-effective medications and care possible.

Aside from traditional outpatient dispensing, pharmacists provide clinical support to medical providers via chronic refill authorization, therapeutic interchanges, and prior authorization completions. Additionally, there is an opportunity for clinical visits managing diabetes, hypertension, anticoagulants, and asthma, amongst other chronic conditions, with direct face-to-face or telehealth patient care.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop pharmacy staff through ongoing performance management, feedback, and training
  • Support employee growth by identifying development needs and encouraging participation in educational and job ‑ related training opportunities
  • Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding, ensuring staff understand role expectations, policies, and equipment usage
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high ‑ performing work culture that promotes collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, workflows, and clinical services; identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions with senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and maintain high standards of clinical practice and medication management
  • Review incident reports and quality metrics; recommend and implement system or process improvements to maximize safety and service quality
  • Support inventory management, formulary decisions, and pharmacy performance related to monthly and annual revenue goals
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development, compliance monitoring, audits, training programs, and committee participation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • 4 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Manager or Director (This includes two years' experience supervising a team in a clinical environment)
  • PGY-1 & PGY-2 residencies are equivalent to work experience
  • Current WA state Pharmacist license
  • Current driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
  • Drug testing:
    This position requires testing for controlled substances before employment and will be subject to further testing throughout employment
