Job Summary

Performs a number of routine tasks following set procedures in the field of Warehousing/Material Management. Some problem-solving ability is required.

Warehouse Coordinator IV - New Century

• Ordering, picking, filling, and preparation of customer orders following GMP guidelines.
• Coordination with supply chain, Innovations, and sales personnel in sending samples to customers and other IFF locations.
• Ensuring all required shipping documents are properly prepared according to the customer’s request and other administrative duties.
• Daily communication with department Warehouse Lead pertaining to receiving and shipping orders.
• Performs material handling functions on a daily basis for both domestic and international orders.
• Assists with cycle counts.
• Assists in administrative tasks such as handling and preparation of paperwork; may assist in daily closing of the warehouse.
• Contributes to team effort by completing any and all tasks as established by management when needed.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements as established by management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding and following good manufacturing practices (GMP) for care, handling, and storage of food products.
• Ability to lift 55 pounds in a safe manner.

• High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience/education in a manufacturing, laboratory, military, or related role.
• Material handling forklift experience.

This position is quality driven and requires a person who can think and act with minimal supervision. The person must be organized, detail oriented, and able to identify problems while adhering to all policies surrounding general daily workflow. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required, and the individual should work effectively with fellow employees and management.
