Area Sales Manager – Midwest Territory (KS, MO, NE, IA, CO)
Location: Remote – Must reside within territory
Territory: Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Area Sales Manager to grow our presence across the Midwest territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and strengthening relationships with key partners including TPAs, insurance carriers, self‑insured employers, and attorneys. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled communicator, and motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
What You’ll DoDevelop new business and expand existing accounts within the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular in‑person and virtual meetings
Prospect and engage TPAs, insurance companies, self‑insured employers, and attorneys to identify managed care needs
Present Genex IME products and services to prospective and existing clients
Attend industry conferences and events to generate new business opportunities
Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Director to develop and execute territory growth strategies
Maintain a monthly sales pipeline with measurable financial goals
Participate in bi‑monthly pipeline calls and provide updates on prospect progress
Prepare and submit RFP responses as needed
Complete and maintain required sales activity reports and territory blueprints
Manage marketing and travel expenses in line with company guidelines
Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and industry awareness
Travel extensively throughout the territory, with occasional travel to FL, GA, AL, MS, NC, and SC as needed

3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
Experience in healthcare, managed care, or related industries is a plus
