As a District Manager you will guide a team of Store Managers in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience, operational excellence, and a workplace that promotes engagement and living the company values. You will direct and oversee all area store personnel to achieve regional, divisional and company net profit performance objectives.
Responsibilities- Oversee strategic planning for the area, including staffing levels, personnel development and performance management.
- Enhance team engagement and productivity across a wide network of locations, fostering a culture that supports retention and growth.
- Demonstrate leadership by building trust, setting clear measurable goals, holding accountability, and communicating frequently and effectively.
- Build and develop a strong leadership team by hiring or promoting store managers and ensuring ongoing training, coaching and feedback.
- Analyze financial reports, P&L, gap analyses, sales, expenses, labor costs and inventory control; coach Store Managers to improve profitability.
- Conduct weekly store visits to ensure compliance with regional, divisional and company standards for store conditions, promotions, operational procedures and financial controls.
- Maintain area‑wide guest satisfaction and product quality while managing safety and security within the territory.
- Place strong emphasis on food service, increasing sales, and monitoring food service standards and safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Region Manager.

Store team members, Region Manager, VP of Retail Operations, Human Resource Business Partner & Centers of Excellence, Facilities Maintenance, Marketing, Risk Management, Environmental, Legal departments, and vendors.
RequirementsMinimum Education
High School or GED (Preferred).
EducationCollege degree in business or a closely related field. May substitute for a portion of required experience.
Minimum Experience10 years retail experience or restaurant general management experience.
Preferred Experience1–3 years multi‑unit retail experience in a convenience store or restaurant environment.
Licenses/CertificationsMust maintain Serv Safe Certification and verify that locations meet Serv Safe Certification requirements during quarterly store walk audits.
Soft Skills- Excellent team building and leadership practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn additional programs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and handle various issues constructively.
- Strong analytical skills.
95% traveling from location to location.
Hours & ConditionsMonday‑Friday, 40–50 hour work week (depending on business needs), occasional weekend work may be required.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 40 pounds occasionally; stand and walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, and grip.
Other- Must have a clean driving record.
- Relocation is not required but desirable.
