Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated meat department associate who will help ensure the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. You will be on the front lines of customer service, contributing to a positive shopping experience through attention to detail and a helpful attitude.
You will be evaluated on your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, keep member satisfaction as a top priority, stand for long periods while assisting members, and solve problems to complete tasks with excellence.

What you'll do- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat and maintain product quality.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence; maintain work area per policies; ensure quality and date control for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure packaging, labeling, and storage comply with policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service; execute basics at the highest level and show energy and commitment.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics by applying related action plans and the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; sets priorities and communicates progress; seeks opportunities for improvement and adapts to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00 per hour. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
