This position: Pest Control Technician performs industry-leading pest management services for residential customers. You will identify and eliminate pests from residential properties by conducting inspections, determining pest infestation type, applying treatments (pesticides and traps), and providing preventative measures while adhering to safety regulations and communicating with clients about pest control solutions. This position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on sales.

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment; provide advice on reducing the risk of future infestations
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle (routine maintenance provided)

• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, and narrow passages
• Work around animals, insects, and termites
• Occasionally work around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical components, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals; training provided on safety
• Be able to work both inside and outside in local climate with company-provided weather gear
• Move frequently — sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA-compliant respirator

• Clean-shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal properly)
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided)
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills; ability to follow instructions on product labels
• Customer-facing experience preferred
