Responsibilities

* Coordinates interdisciplinary teamwork efforts of surgeons, registered nurses, surgical technicians, and ancillary staff in the provision of pre- and post op care of patients undergoing surgical intervention.

* Assume the administrative responsibility of the Center in the absence of the Nurse Manager and Administrator. Directs activities within the ASC.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

* Current Nursing License in the State of Kansas.

* BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

* Current ACLS, PALS certifications.

Preferred

* Two years of experience
