Part‑Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Topeka (Harrison), KS

Primary

Job Function:
  • Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
  • Obtain a history and physical exam.
  • Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or write a buprenorphine prescription.
  • Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence.
  • Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
  • Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Qualifications | Education |

Certifications:
  • Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
  • Addiction Medicine/MAT Experience preferred but not required.
