Responsibilities
The Psychiatric-Mental Health Registered Nurse is a member of the Medical Services team which specializes within the ACT team. He/she uses the nursing process, which involves assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as the foundation for clinical decision making for all person served. The Psychiatric-Mental Health Registered Nurse works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide and coordinate optimal services for the Center's ACT team person served.
Job RequirementsExperience in This position requires a Registered Nurse with a current Kansas Nursing License. An RN with a baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred. Experience in working with persons with mental illness preferred. Strong verbal and written skills required. Knowledge of community resources, strong documentation skills required. Valid Kansas driver’s license, access to reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. This position requires basic computer skills, the ability to sit for long periods of time to complete data entry, and the ability to lift at least twenty-five pounds.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and KDCF Adult/child Abuse Registries.
$35.87 - $41.39
