JR-As a communications Manager, you will be pivotal in creating and executing internal and external communications that strengthen engagement across a Goodyear manufacturing facility. You will craft high‑quality, multi‑channel content that informs, inspires, and aligns associates with local plant priorities. In this role, you will also collaborate closely with the regional plant communications team to activate global campaigns that deepen employees’ understanding of Goodyear’s strategy, culture, and goals.

Your work will ensure consistent, clear, and compelling storytelling that supports both local operations and broader organizational initiatives.
** What You’ll Do
*** Develop and execute an annual communication plan tied to plant objectives and KPIs;
Tailor local multi-channel content to the unique opportunities and challenges of the plant.
* Locally implement global and local campaigns that help front-line associates clearly understand and connect with Goodyear’s strategy, priorities and culture.
* Serve on the plant leadership team, acting as the facility’s strategic communication advisor, counseling plant leaders on messaging;
Align all communications with corporate guidelines and standards.
* Support the regional and global communication strategy;
Collaborate with regional plant communications team;
Share local best practices back to global network.
* Drive morale and recognition through locally inspired programs that celebrate contributions and build pride in work.
* Support global safety communication strategy, issues management and crisis response for emergencies or unexpected events.
* Relay local media inquiries and essential context to regional communications manager to support strategic, company‑approved responses.
* Coordinate community relations in partnership with HR and plant leadership (events, sponsor ships, volunteerism), reinforcing Goodyear’s brand and values in the community.
* Coordinate plant-level communicator meetings, plant presentations and oversee plantwide communication effectiveness.
** What We’re Looking For
*** Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related field.
* 5 or more years of experience in communication or content creation.

*** Strong attention to detail with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and shift between creative or analytical skills.
* Ability to work well with others and influence cross-functional work teams.
* Excellent written communication and presentation skills with experience in digital content creation and newsletter production.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
* Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize and self-assign tasks, organize workload and take ownership of assignments.
* Experience upholding brand guidelines, corporate identity standards and communication requirements to ensure uniformity and coherence.
