Position: Welder - 2nd/3rd Shifts 22-29/hr.

Job Title: MIG & TIG Welders $25-29/hour based on experience

Job Description

Join a dynamic and growing production team in a manufacturing facility in Topeka, KS. This opportunity is perfect for skilled, self‑motivated, and quality‑driven welders who take pride in precision craftsmanship and on‑time delivery. As a Welder, you will fabricate parts and assemblies for custom OEM projects built to exact customer specifications, working in a clean and well‑equipped environment.

Performing welding and fabrication of metal structures for railroads and data centers!

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.

  • Use calibrated measuring tools to fit up assemblies properly.

  • Utilize hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery‑powered tools.

  • Operate plasma cutters, oxy‑acetylene torches, and carbon air arc equipment.

  • Weld in various positions using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.

  • Work with Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.

  • Maintain equipment and a clean work area.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Assist in other production areas as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of welding experience.

  • Schooling or Certifications are a plus if you can pass a welding test.

  • Experience with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes.

  • Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment.

  • Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.

  • Ability to pass visual and bend tests in various processes and positions.

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Technical Certificate or Degree in Welding preferred).

  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment check, drug screen, physical capacity test, and breath alcohol test.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45,760.00 - $56,160.00/yr.
