Asphalt Pavement Seal coating & Patching Division Leader

MCP Facility Services is launching a new Asphalt Pavement Seal coating & Patching Division and seeking a hands‑on leader to build, manage, and grow this division. This role is ideal for an experienced professional in pavement & parking lot repair with proven strength in training, motivating and managing a team to deliver high‑quality results. The Asphalt Pavement Seal coating and Patching Division Leader will be responsible for building sales backlog, driving operational efficiency, and will play a key role in cross‑selling MCP’s full suite of facility services to maximize client value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development – Launch & oversee the Asphalt Pavement Seal coating and Patching Division. Identify & pursue new business opportunities across commercial & institutional markets. Cultivate & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders & decision‑makers. Collaborate with other MCP divisions to cross‑sell services. Track success metrics including backlog, revenue, margin, & crew productivity.
  • Project Management – Manage scheduling, resource deployment, & project execution to ensure quality & timeline compliance. Monitor project budgets, schedules, & safety compliance.
  • Client Relationship Management – Maintain regular communications with clients to ensure satisfaction & ongoing service improvement. Function as a primary point of contact for client issues & resolution.
  • Estimates, Proposals, & Contract Negotiation – Lead the development of accurate cost estimates. Collaborate with Facility Services Operations Manager to prepare, write, & deliver proposals. Ensure proposals align with client needs, company capabilities, & profitability goals.
  • Financial & Budget Oversight – Assist in developing and managing operational budgets and ensure financial metrics are achieved. Identify cost‑saving initiatives and drive operational efficiencies without compromising service quality.
  • Team Oversight & Development – Lead, train, & motivate crews to deliver high‑quality work. Maintain a positive environment focused on quality work & growth.
Experience & Skills
  • Proven leadership in pavement/parking lot repair.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, resource management, & quality control.
  • Familiarity with asphalt pavement seal coating and patching equipment, materials, & safety practices.
  • Excellent communication & customer service abilities.
  • Skilled in building & maintaining positive relationships with clients, staff, subcontractors, & vendors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in prioritizing tasks & managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to identify, assess, & resolve problems & issues related to operations and contracted projects.
  • OSHA 30 or 10 certification.
  • Technology proficiency. Familiarity with CMS software, including Procore, Spectrum, Serve Tech, SharePoint, etc.
  • Ability to work with MCP’s EOS/scorecard system and participate in weekly leadership meetings.
