SUMMARY

OF POSITION

The Manager of Program Management is responsible for leading, managing, and strategically directing the activities of the project management department. The project management team oversees changes related to products, processes, and strategic initiatives.

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure the development of a comprehensive project statement of work and a corresponding business case.
  • Encourage the team to enhance the program schedule, increase profitability, and improve quality metrics.
  • Address program conflicts and set a clear escalation path for all projects.
  • Leads the project team through weekly core team meetings to track the Issues List.
  • Attends program status to Gate Reviews, monthly Program
  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of program managers.
  • Emphasize the importance of developing and maintaining the team through effective recruitment, training, and mentoring.
  • Serve as a representative for the company by engaging with our customers and ensuring the delivery of excellent project services.
  • Reviews, and in other project reviews to ensure seamless launch is achieved.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the overall Techniplas Program Management System process.
  • Support maintaining IATF
    16949 and ISO
    14001 accreditation.
  • Develop and revise documents to support the department's responsibilities.
  • Report the department's KPIs and their related corrective and preventive actions to leadership. Ensure department performance shows year-over-year improvements on these KPIs.
  • Interface with and build strong collaborative relationships with sales, finance, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and operations, as well as global regional executive teams.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in project management, program management, product development, engineering, business, or science is required.
  • Over 10 years of program management experience encompassing the entire process from initiation to service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with all levels of the organization as well as with external business partners.
  • Business and financial acumen to build profitable product lines.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in overseeing cross‑functional teams to achieve set goals.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with others while influencing outcomes and addressing obstacles.
  • Results and detail‑oriented: holds self and others accountable for commitments.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, facilities, and equipment.
  • Proficient in MS‑Office software and ERP systems
  • Highly quantitative. Enjoy analyzing data. Experience setting metrics and iterating based on data.
  • Demonstrates expertise in developing business cases, costed BOMs, and managing program financials with an emphasis on profit optimization.
  • Travel up to 10-20%
