Summary:
The Staff Attorney provides legal services required to establish paternity and support orders and delivers legal advice, counsel, and litigation services for the Kansas child support program.
- Provide legal representation in all child support matters related to paternity, and establishment and enforcement of support orders.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel, attend hearings, and perform related actions.
- Recommend and review legal actions; draft, review, and sign legal documents.
- Juris Doctor degree and a current license to practice law in the state of Kansas (or awaiting bar exam results).
- No experience necessary.
