Cyber Security Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures to protect the organization from cyber threats. • Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for anomalies and potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance overall security posture.
• Maintain and set up security tooling both on-prem and in the Cloud environment.
• Maintain and configure security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and DLP solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Document security incidents, findings, and mitigation strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• JD/PhD.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security.
• In order to be considered for this position, you must be a US Citizen.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS technologies.
• Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, NDR, Forensic Tooling, Firewalls.
• Understanding of network security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO
  27001.
• Certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, or GIAC.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Power Shell) for automation.
• Knowledge of zero‑trust architecture and secure network design principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
