The Azure Manager is a hands‑on technical leader responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments. This role combines people leadership with direct technical execution, including infrastructure build‑out, automation, troubleshooting, and optimization. The Azure Manager works daily in Azure alongside the team while ensuring stability, security, and alignment with business needs.
CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure including computer, networking, storage, and identity services
- Perform hands‑on configuration and administration of Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and services
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent tools
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Azure issues, serving as the senior technical escalation point
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Equivalent experience may be considered)
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting cloud or infrastructure environments
- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical staff
- Demonstrated experience building and operating Azure environments directly
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Infrastructure as Code and automation experience
- Proficiency with Power Shell, Azure CLI, or similar tools
- Experience with networking concepts, hybrid connectivity, and identity management
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Administrator, Solutions Architect, or Security Engineer)
- Experience supporting production environments with 24/7 availability requirements
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines

- On-call or after‑hours support may be required for critical incidents or maintenance
