Job Description Join Our Team as a Complimentary AM Attendant! About UsThe Complimentary AM Attendant (Breakfast Attendant) is in charge of making sure hotel guests have a great breakfast experience. This requires the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to keeping the dining area clean, well‑stocked, and organized. Responsibilities include preparing food and beverages, serving guests, and answering questions while following the hotel’s standards for quality and hospitality.
KeySkills / Responsibilities
- Guest Service & Hospitality: Provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, greet guests, and respond to inquiries about hotel services, breakfast offerings, and local area attractions.
- Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve breakfast items, specialty beverages (including coffee and tea drinks), and maintain high food safety and sanitation standards.
- Efficiency & Organization: Ensure all service areas are clean, well‑stocked, and set up according to brand standards; promptly clear tables and refresh buffet stations.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address guest needs and quickly evaluate solutions for special requests or issues.
- Teamwork &
Collaboration:
Support other team members as needed, including assistance in dishwashing, replenishing food items, and keeping the kitchen and service areas tidy. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Cash Handling & POS Transactions: Perform basic cashiering duties such as closing checks, processing payments, and maintaining transaction records as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items (20‑50 lbs.), and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift. Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in food & beverage or hospitality is a plus.
