  • The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, establish tailored plans of care, and ensure the delivery of prescribed treatments to assigned patients, consistent with standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and state regulations in Kansas.
  • Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
  • Enhance visibility and awareness of physical therapy services and foster professional development throughout the healthcare organization and local community.
  • Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
Job Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist.
  • Must obtain CPR certification prior to start.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred

Job Requirements
  • Previous experience in the medical setting or a rehabilitation setting.
