Position Overview

Speech‑Language Pathologist – Part‑Time in Topeka, KS. Responsible for assessment, delivery, supervision, and evaluation of speech therapy services to agency patients in accordance with the physician’s Plan of Care and applicable regulations.

• Perform direct speech therapy services to patients per physician‑ordered plan of care
• Comply with agency standards, policies, procedures, state and federal regulations, state practice acts, business code of ethics, and payer requirements
• Provide legible, accurate, timely and complete documentation per agency standards
• Communicate and collaborate with team members when reviewing, revising and updating patient’s plan of care
• Perform job responsibilities in accordance with agency financial and productivity goals
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current license in the state(s) of practice
• Prefer one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, stressful environment, utilizing good judgment, flexibility and patience
• Position requires mental alertness, precision, analytical ability, problem solving, memory, communication, concentration and initiative
• May require frequent travel and irregular hours
