Multiply is hiring a Finance & Business Operations Lead to own the financial and operational backbone of a rapidly scaling fintech. This is a high-impact role at the center of the company, responsible for strategic finance, capital markets, and core business operations that power our growth.

You’ll operate as a true owner: building and maintaining our financial strategy, managing capital relationships, ensuring operational rigor, and translating company strategy into numbers and execution. This role is ideal for someone who started their career in investment banking or investing, then moved into an operating role at a high-growth startup, and now wants full end-to-end ownership.

You will manage a small but growing team, work cross-functionally with leadership, and serve as a thought partner on everything from capital strategy to mortgage operations to G&A efficiency. From Day 1, your work will directly shape Multiply’s trajectory.

Strategic Finance & Leadership

• Own company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance management
• Build and maintain models that guide strategic decisions, capital allocation, and growth priorities
• Partner closely with the executive team on pricing, unit economics, and long-term strategy
• Manage and develop a growing Finance & Biz Ops team (currently
  2)

Capital Markets & Financing

• Own relationships with lenders, capital providers, and external financial partners
• Lead capital planning, warehouse facilities, and financing strategy
• Support fundraising processes, investor diligence, and board-level reporting

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

• Oversee accounting operations, close processes, and financial reporting
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
• Partner with external firms on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters

Business Operations

• Oversee business operations, including special projects, payroll, and other G&A functions, with a focus on leverage and efficiency

• 6+ years of experience across:
  • Investment banking or investing (PE / VC / growth equity), and
  • An operating role at a high-growth startup
• Proven ability to own financial strategy end-to-end
• Comfort operating across strategy and details, from board decks to operational workflows
• Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, ownership mindset, and bias toward action
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build structure where none exists
• Strong management and communication skills with executives, partners, and external stakeholders
• Strong systems thinker who enjoys process design and operational rigor

• Experience in fintech, lending, or regulated financial products
• Prior experience scaling finance and ops functions at an early-stage company
