Position Summary
As a Senior Engineer at ENGEO, you will collaborate with peers and technical leaders on a diverse array of challenging and globally recognized projects. Your role involves upholding the company's values while providing support and mentorship to junior staff. You will manage complex and geotechnically challenging projects, foster relationships with clients, teaming partners, and ENGEO’s exceptional worldwide staff, and play a crucial role in building and expanding business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of ENGEO.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Set an example for behaviors including exceptional client service, timeliness of project delivery, professionalism, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining a positive attitude in challenging circumstances.
- Lead and manage complex projects with limited oversight.
- Be a resource for professional advice, technical mentoring, and training support for more junior staff from initial design scoping through construction completion.
- Develop professional relationships with engineers, geologists, and support staff in and outside of the Guam office.
- Represent ENGEO with clients, teaming partners, and industry organizations.
- Engage proactively in business development.
- Look for efficiencies and methods to improve internal processes.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Five or more years of engineering project management experience
- Licensed as Professional Engineer in a U.S. state or territory and can become licensed in Guam within 6 to 8 months
- Education:
M.S. in Civil with Geotechnical Engineering specialty (minimum required) - Experience with settlement, slope stability, seepage, and foundation design and construction; deep foundations, and shallow foundations
- Seismic and GIS experience a plus
- A team player who enjoys exciting and dynamic environments
- Experience in both design and construction geotechnical services
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities

- Experience mentoring staff
- Naval Base Guam Wharf Repair and Modernization Projects and Improvements – Lima, Mike, November, and X-ray Wharves
- Construction of the new Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz in Guam
- Guam Water Authority reservoir and infrastructure projects
- Anderson Air Force Base (Guam) water well and transmission infrastructure construction
- Guam Public Works Highway and Bridge Improvement Program
