Continuous Improvement Engineer - Twix
Topeka, KS
Join us as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer for the Twix production line and play a vital role in driving operational excellence across multiple shifts in this key Production Area. You’ll be a crucial part of the FMOS/RT implementation team, managing manufacturing systems, improving line event data integrity, and reducing downtime. Partnering closely with Production Leaders, you’ll establish work standards, coach associates, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that boost efficiency and reliability.

- Bachelor Degree – Engineering, Supply or Technical field of study
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and TPM environment.
- 2+ years direct people leadership experience
- Ability to engage and lead teams
- Demonstrated ability in leading change and situational leadership
- Clear ability to relate to Associates across all levels of the organization
- Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proven track record of driving results
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Data‑driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing and leveraging operational data
- Passion for technology, innovation, and operational excellence
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and coach associates
- Own all Daily Management Systems (DMS) execution and lead the Changeover (CO), Centerlines (CL), Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate (CIL), and Anomaly Handling (AH) DMS.
- Lead Daily Area Value Stream connection point meetings.
- Conduct detailed analysis on performance data and integrate into Factory Mars Operating System (FMOS).
- Drive loss elimination for assigned area including Line Loss Analysis and development of 90‑day action plans to address losses and build associate capability.
- Lead Autonomous Maintenance (AM) process improvement teams focused on the reduction of downtime and loss elimination.
- Support and coach Pillar activities within the Value Stream by providing analytics and developing standards.
- Assist Production Leaders in managing team performance through coaching and skills development.
- Provide overall direction to Continuous Improvement Specialists, including development and performance evaluations.
- Support Commission, Validation, Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects.
- Champion TPM (MSE) AM deployment and all Safety and Quality standards and objectives for the area.
