YouTube Strategist

Overview

Are you passionate about helping others build authority and trust through modern media? As a You Tube Strategist, you’ll partner with independent financial professionals to develop and execute strategies that grow their brand and audience over time. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in organic content marketing who can turn strategy into real results.

Financial services experience isn’t required — we value strategic thinkers who are curious, adaptable, and confident in translating business goals into effective content. You’ll work closely with internal creative teams and partners to drive long-term impact

• Lead You Tube strategy for a portfolio of financial advisors, serving as a trusted strategic partner
• Develop content strategies that align advisor goals, audience needs, and platform best practices
• Guide clients through strategic decision-making related to positioning, messaging, and content direction
• Translate strategy into clear, actionable briefs for scripts, thumbnails, and video concepts
• Collaborate with writing, editing, and design teams to ensure creative execution supports strategic intent
• Review and provide feedback on scripts and creative assets to maintain quality and consistency
• Monitor channel performance and engagement trends to inform iterative strategy improvements
• Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen content performance, brand authority, and audience connection
• Other duties as assigned

• 3–5 years of experience in You Tube strategy, content strategy, digital marketing, or a related role
• Experience contributing to, or supporting, content marketing strategies within a professional, agency, or in-house environment
• Strong understanding of content marketing fundamentals, including content positioning, audience engagement, and performance analysis.
• Ability to connect content strategy to broader business or brand objectives
• Confident, professional, and effective communicator in both written and verbal settings
• Experience working with clients or internal stakeholders in a strategic or advisory capacity
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with comfort operating in an evolving, results-oriented environment

• Demonstrated experience leading or owning You Tube strategies that drove channel growth, audience engagement, or business results (ex. sales or revenue)
• Experience helping businesses or personal brands grow through You Tube
• Experience applying structured experimentation or testing methodologies to evaluate ideas and inform strategic direction.
• Background working with financial professionals, professional services or regulated industries
• Led or is familiar with content production and creative collaboration
• Experience documenting strategy, processes, or playbooks to support scale
