Job Description

To assist the special education teacher in working with an individual student(s) that present a level of needed support that exceeds typical programming, to help achieve the skill levels commensurate with their capabilities. Implements a highly structured program that incorporates specialized instruction, behavioral interventions, clear communication, data collection, and procedural fidelity with student(s). Consistently implements trained skills specific to de-escalation, behavior modification, trauma informed care, and programming specific to defined targeted social/emotional and academic skill deficits.

Salary: $25.27-$31.52/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)

Terms of Employment: 8 hours/day, 9 months/year

  • available to employees hired to work 5.75+ hours/day, 5 days/week
