Title: Optometrist (Part‑Time)
Location: Topeka, KS
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $800 Per Day

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part‑Time Optometrist to join our mobile care team in Topeka. This independent contractor role allows you to supplement your current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities. All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC.

• Conduct routine eye exams, refractions, and vision screenings.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions common among geriatric patients.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with optical labs as needed.
• Educate patients and facility staff on eye health and preventive care practices.

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
• Active state optometry license in Kansas.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills in ocular disease management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• 4–5 visits per month.
• Weekday availability.
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
