The regular hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change as needed.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the Position:- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- Break processed removable restorations out of flasks and match back to the correct case pan
- Remove excess acrylic flash using burs and/or cutting wheels
- Remove excess acrylic from metal areas of partial dentures and from teeth
- Add final anatomy to present an aesthetic appearance and good function
- Seat back to models to check for correct fit; adjust if necessary. If partial clasps need to be adjusted for correct fit, take to the appropriate person.
- Repair any areas of the acrylic that have holes, porosity or scarring using cold cure acrylic technique. Pencil blast metal for repairs.
- Final polish using pumice and high shine materials
- Enter patient information and scan stone models to create 3D virtual models
- Enter every case with proper material and tooth number
- Adjust settings accordingly to product types
- Keep cases organized so that the flow of work stays on schedule
- Maintain a clean work area
- All other duties as assigned
Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
Required:
- Preferred:
High school diploma or GED equivalent - No experience as a Denture Finish Lab Technician
- Small machinery
- Hand pieces
- Chemicals
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
