We are looking for PRN Youth Care Workers who are at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent to join our team! We will teach you the rest!
A Day in the Life as a Youth Care Worker IAs a Youth Care Worker I at our Qualified Residential Treatment Program, your day will be filled with meaningful interactions and impactful moments. You ll start by greeting the residents, setting a positive tone for the day. You ll lead various activities designed to engage the residents, from group discussions that promote social interaction to creative projects that stimulate their minds.
Throughout the day, you ll be a source of guidance and support, helping residents navigate challenges, reinforcing positive behaviors, and ensuring they participate in required programs and activities.
Your role involves more than just supervision—it's about being a mentor and role model. You ll document and report on residents' progress, collaborate with the treatment team to develop personalized care plans, and sometimes assist with practical tasks like laundry or meal supervision. Your day may also include transporting residents to appointments or activities, ensuring their safety and well-being every step of the way.
By the end of the day, you'll know you've made a difference, helping to create a stable, supportive environment where residents can thrive.
