Residential Supervisor

Overview

Full-time Residential Supervisor position. We are looking for a full-time Residential Supervisor who is at least 21 years of age and has a high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a Residential Program. Also required to attend Safe Crisis Management training provided by the Agency and Residential Child and Youth Care Professional Certification Training. Employees must complete the online certification process to become Nationally Certified within the first year of employment.

A valid driver’s license and meeting agency underwriting standards for driving agency vehicles and/or transporting clients are required.

Average annual salary is $54,100.80 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.).

• Provides direct supervision of direct service program staff assigned to the facility and provides administrative expertise as required. The Supervisor will promote Trauma Informed Care treatment modalities within the program, supervisory, and management activities.
• Oversee and supervise a team of staff members working with children in a residential setting.
• Provide guidance, support, and leadership to staff to ensure the safety and well-being of the children under their care.
• Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and supervision at all times.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide training opportunities.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as case management, therapy, and education to ensure comprehensive care for the children served.
• Enforce and ensure adherence to all agency policies and procedures by staff members.
• Serve as a point of contact for staff members regarding any concerns or emergencies that may arise during shifts.
• Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of staff interactions, incidents, and progress reports.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and support.
• Collaborate with the residential director and other supervisors to address systemic issues and improve the overall functioning of the residential program.
• Develops and implements procedures and controls to promote accurate and timely information flow.
• Advocates, promotes, and practices cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all day-to-day interactions.
• Develops, promotes, and practices teamwork in all activities.
• Follows all accreditation standards as well as state standards of oversight for the PRTF.
