What You'll Do

As an R&D Chemist Intern, you will gain lab experience manufacturing and testing emulsions while working with our R&D team at Dyno Nobel's state-of-the-art laboratory facility in Tooele, Utah. You will complete a variety of projects aimed at maintaining Dyno Nobel's competitive advantage in the field of mining explosives. Duties will include:

* Perform lab-scale emulsion manufacture.

* Perform analyses required by the R&D team.

* Perform all routine quality control tests on all produced materials.

* Use synthetic, analytical, and material science skills to solve real-world problems.

* Plan, execute and report on experimental activities.

* Observe detonation testing experiments on products YOU produced!

* Provide document control support for all operations

About your internship

Duration: 10 - 12 weeks

Pay: $24.00 an hour

* Gain hands on working experience to demonstrate your educational skills and gain industry knowledge.
