Teaching Personnel are recruiting experienced Behaviour Management Teaching Assistants to join a large, well‑established all‑through school in Tonypandy, supporting pupils across both primary and secondary phases. If you have a background in behaviour support, youth work, care, coaching or SEN, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

About the Role- Support pupils across Primary and Secondary classrooms
- Provide behaviour regulation support for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD or challenging behaviour
- Assist with de‑escalation, emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils re‑engage with learning
- Support teachers with classroom routines, interventions and behaviour plans
- Build strong, trusting relationships to help pupils feel safe, understood and motivated
- Promote a calm, structured and supportive learning environment
- Experienced in behaviour management or supporting young people

- Able to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
- Adaptable, resilient and proactive in the classroom
- Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
- Experienced with SEN/ALN (beneficial but not essential)

- Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
