HGV Class 1 Driver – Uttoxeter People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 15:00 and 19:00 Rates of Pay • £17.00 per hour (basic) • £17.55 per hour (Friday) • £20.35 per hour (Sunday) Benefits

• Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)
• Operating and driving Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE driving licence
• Minimum of 12 month's experience driving CE vehicles
• Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Punctual with excellent time-keeping
• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided
• Driver assessment must be completed before starting
